Wisdom from "Hacksaw Ridge" Movie about Life , GOD and Faith

1...Murder, it's the worst sin of all.

And to take another man's life,

that is the most

egregious sin in the Lord's sight.

Nothing hurts his heart so much. 

2..."In peace, sons bury their fathers,

in war, fathers bury their sons."

3...Why does he hate us so much?

Oh, he don't hate us.

He hates himself sometimes.

4...Have I been prideful?

Maybe I am prideful.

But I don't know HOW

I'M GOING TO LIVE WITH MYSELF

IF I DON'T STAY TRUE

TO WHAT I BELIEVE.

Much less how you could live with me.

I'd never be the man

that I want to be in your eyes.

5...Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

the Creator of the ends of the Earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,

and His understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary

and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,

and young men stumble and fall.

But those who hope in the Lord

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles.

They will run and not grow weary.

They will walk and not be faint.

6...You don't win wars

by giving up your life. 

7...While everybody else is taking life,

I'm going to be saving it.

With the world so set

on tearing itself apart,

it doesn't seem like

such a bad thing to me

to want to put a little bit

of it back together.

8...Please, Lord, help me get one more.
